WiFi Hearing Assistance
The latest addition to the hearing augmentation space, Wifi technology used for hearing assistance is growing in popularity. These systems use an audio processor that sends the sound over a wifi network.
Visitors to the venue simply download an app to receive the audio signal stream directly to their smart phone. Many modern hearing aids have the capacity to connect wirelessly to the users mobile phone and so hearing aid wearers would also access the wifi hearing assistance system via the app and stream the sound directly from their smartphone to their hearing aids.
We also offer systems that include wifi receivers to satisfy the requirements of the BCA Clause D3.7 which requires your hearing augmentation system to provide receivers for visitors who might not have or wish to use their own smart device.

There are obvious space and convenience savings with wifi systems as there are no venue based receiver units to store, charge or issue to customers. However, it is recommended to have a few back up smart receivers for potential customers who do not have their own smartphone or device to use, and this also supports your venue in achieving compliance requirements.
